3. Credit Card Acquiring and Security
Credit card transactions will be acquired for 3G Mobile by Virtual Card Services (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway in South Africa. Virtual Card Services use SSL3 and no credit card details are stored on 3G Mobile’s website. Users may go to http://www.vcs.co.za/ to view their security certificate and security policy. All encryption complies with international standards. Encryption is used to protect the transmission of personal information when completing online transactions. Virtual Card Service’s Internet servers are protected by firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
4. Customer Details separate from Card Details
Customer details will be stored by 3G Mobile separately from card details which are entered by the client on Virtual Card Services‘s secure site. This means that 3G Mobile will at no time have access to your personal credit card details but will store information with respect to orders made, shipping address, correspondence etc.
5. How can I as a user opt out of the service?
Many of the services available on the Site provide the User with the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from us. In addition, in our e-mail communications, we will have instructions on how to unsubscribe so that the User will not receive any future e-mails from us if the User so chooses.
